Common questions about removing ads in the waapp.me Android app. The full terms are in our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Is it a subscription? Will I be charged again?

No. Each Remove Ads option is a one-time purchase. You pay once through Google Play and are never charged for it again.

What's the difference between the options?

• Remove all ads — no banner ads on any page, including Home.
• Remove ads except Home — no banner ads on the other pages; the Home banner stays.
• Upgrade — if you already own "Remove ads except Home", removes the Home banner as well.

Can I remove ads without paying?

Yes, for an hour at a time. On the Remove Ads page, tap "Watch an ad" and watch a short ad to hide all ads in the app for 1 hour. When the hour is up, you can watch another one. It is free and is not a purchase, so it is counted on your phone only and is not restored after a reinstall or on another phone.

I reinstalled the app or got a new phone. How do I get my purchase back?

Open the app while connected to the internet, with Google Play signed in to the same Google account you bought with. Your purchase is restored automatically — there is nothing to buy again. If you tap a purchase you already own, Google Play recognises it and the app unlocks it without charging you.

I bought it but still see ads. Why?

• You turned ads back on for that page. Open Remove Ads and switch the page off under "Show ads on".
• You bought "Remove ads except Home", which keeps the Home banner.
• Your payment is still pending, for example a cash or bank payment. Ads are removed once Google Play confirms it.
• Google Play on this phone is signed in to a different Google account.
• The app could not reach Google Play. Connect to the internet and reopen the app.
• Your free hour without ads has ended. Watch another ad, or buy a Remove Ads option to remove them for good.
• You sent a tip. Tips don't remove ads (see below).
• The ads are on the waapp.me website, which the purchase does not cover (see below).

Does it remove ads on the waapp.me website?

No. The purchase covers the Android app only. The website keeps its ads, which keep it free for everyone.

Does sending a tip remove ads?

No. A tip ("Buy me a coffee" in the app) is a voluntary payment to say thanks to the developer and does not unlock anything. To remove ads, buy one of the Remove Ads options.

Can I get a refund?

Purchases, including tips, are made through Google Play, so refunds follow the Google Play refund policy.

• Within 48 hours of buying: request a refund directly from Google Play.
• After 48 hours: purchases, including tips, are non-refundable, except where required by law. If something isn't working — for example, ads weren't removed — email us at aelab.my@gmail.com with your Google Play order number and we'll fix it, or refund you if we can't. The order number starts with "GPA." and is in the receipt email from Google Play and in your Google Play order history.

If a Remove Ads purchase is refunded, the ads it removed come back.

Do you see my payment details?

No. Google Play handles the payment and we never receive your card number or other payment details. See the In-App Purchases section of our Privacy Policy.
